Acatek ecoinvest s. a., established in Costa Rica, is a company that has been working for years on reforestation. Numerous high quality trees have been planted: Teak (Tectona grandis), Acasia (Acacia mangium), Melina (Gmelina arborea) and Cebo (Vochysia hondurensis).

The trees have been cut in their best growth condition and used for the wood market. They have then been replanted to re-start the production cycle.

This activity has been generating good returns during the years, hitting financial targets.

Recently, the land has also been highly appreciated due to the discovery of gold mines in the area (Crucitas mine) and to the construction of a highway at the Nicaragua border. Acatek has decided to sell this beautiful 1.421.493 m2 property, 1.046.000 m2 of which is completely reforested with more than 250.000 trees. The rest of rainforest is populated by tropical animals and includes many water streams and ponds with marine life. Through the constructed wells allow the area to be completely independent.

This property is crossed through by a 6m wide public road and by a 3m private road. It is supplied with electricity by the national grid and includes TV/phone network, phone and internet access. The development represents an excellence in the area and thanks to its “know how” it is regularly maintained should the new owner not be able to take over immediately.
